Brian A. Tomecek, M. Eng., P. Eng., Principal
Mr. Tomecek is a Principal and senior structural engineer with Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. Brian has extensive experience in the design and construction of a diverse array of commercial, institutional and industrial engineering projects, and has performed the duties of design engineer, project manager, and prime consultant. With over 19 years of experience, he has experience in the evaluation, remediation, and upgrading of existing structures including parking structures, seismic strengthening, and building envelope studies. Brian has a Bsc. in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Engineering Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Calgary.

Bryan L. Roney, Principal
Mr. Roney is a Principal and Senior Project Manager for Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. with over 23 years of experience in the building construction industry. Bryan has a comprehensive understanding of the use of modern construction materials and structural systems for commercial, light industrial and residential building projects of all sizes. Bryan has applied this background along with his knowledge of cost effective design solutions to structural projects across Western Canada. He has extensive project management, construction document production, coordination capabilities and is responsible for project deliverables. He provides project management services to clients, sub-consultants and contractors and leads the business development team for TRL & Associates.

Ken J. Little, P. Eng., Principal
Mr. Little is a Principal and Senior Structural Engineer for Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. He has over 16 years of experience and a diverse background in the design, specification, and construction of commercial, industrial and institutional structures. Ken's responsibilities on previous projects have ranged from Project Design Engineer for many traditional and complex multi-disciplinary projects, to Resident Structural Engineering for the Government of Canada's new $130 million Federal Laboratory for Disease Control facility recently constructed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ken is a Principal of TRL and the Senior Structural Engineer responsible for the design of a broad range of projects.

Gordon Andrew, C.E.T., Senior Structural Technologist
Mr. Andrew is a Senior Associate with over 20 years of experience in the industry. As a senior technologist with Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd., Gordon is responsible for the production of contract documents on a wide variety of projects. With extensive experience in the use of wood, steel and concrete, he has been the lead technologist on projects such as the new Canadian Tire Western Distribution Centre, Chinook Centre's new 16-plex Famous Players Theatre and the Beverly Centre Assisted Living Complex. Mr. Andrew is also an executive for the Calgary Chapter of Construction Specifications Canada.

 

Nilesh Shah, P. Eng., Senior Associate
Mr Shah is a Senior Associate at Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. His experience is extensive and diverse and includes numerous mid-rise cast-in place concrete complexes. At present, Mr. Shah is the lead designer for the 4 and 6 storey precast concrete building developments in Fort. McMurray.
